Prefer to talk to someone directly? Call +32 495 405 779 or email mahyadine.mons@resetlaser.com. Please mention which addiction is involved when you book: the time reserved is still about an hour, but the initial interview covers different situations depending on whether it concerns tobacco, cannabis, alcohol or sugar.
Why quitting smoking on your own is so hard
Quitting smoking involves two dependencies that are not dealt with in the same way. The first is physical: the body craves nicotine, and its absence shows up as irritability, nervousness and sometimes broken nights. The second comes down to habits: the ten o’clock break, the car journey, the Friday evening drink. Each situation becomes a trigger in its own right.
Many people who come to our centres have already tried to quit, with patches, gum or willpower alone. These attempts say nothing about a lack of character: it usually takes several attempts before quitting sticks. Laser auricular reflexology works on the physical side of tobacco dependency; the habits are then worked on afterwards, with the follow-up support.
Laser auricular reflexology in Mons: what happens during a session
How a session works, step by step
- The initial interview
The session lasts about an hour. It begins with an initial interview with the practitioner: your consumption, your previous attempts, the times of day when the urge comes back. - Applying the laser
Next comes the laser application. A gentle, low-intensity laser stimulates reflex points on the ear and a few points on the nose. No needles, no breaking of the skin, no medication. The session is painless: most people describe only a slight feeling of warmth. It ends with practical advice for the first few days.
What the method aims to do, and what it doesn't
The method is based on laser stimulation of specific points. It aims to ease the physical signs of craving felt after quitting and to reduce the symptoms often associated with withdrawal, such as stress, irritability, anxiety or sleep problems. The goal is to support you through this transition phase by making it less uncomfortable.
It does not replace your decision to quit and does not act on the habits built up over the years: that is the role of the follow-up support.
Laser technology has been in use for more than thirty years; Reset Laser has been supporting clients since 2020, in six countries. Find out more about the method.
Who the method is not suitable for
The session cannot be offered to people in any of the following situations:
- pregnant women, at any stage of pregnancy
- people with a pacemaker or an active implanted electronic device
- people undergoing heavy medical treatment (active chemotherapy or radiotherapy)
- people who are photosensitive or taking photosensitising medication
- minors without parental consent
If in doubt, talk to your GP before booking.
What the Mons centre offers you after the session
12
12 months of personalised support
The session does not mark the end of the process. For 12 months, you stay in direct contact with the Mons centre. A low moment, a stronger craving than expected, a situation you hadn’t anticipated: you call, and the practitioner who saw you adjusts their advice. That is what sets this approach apart from quitting on your own.
+
A free session if you relapse
If you start smoking again within 12 months, you are offered a new session at no extra cost, at the Mons centre or at any centre in the network, in Belgium or abroad.
This commitment relates to the means we put in place and is not a promise of results; success also depends on each client’s personal determination.
The addictions supported at the Mons centre
Tobacco
The session stimulates the reflex points linked to nicotine craving as well as those linked to stress and anxiety, to help ease the sensations felt when you quit. The follow-up support then focuses on the everyday situations that trigger the urge to smoke. Discover the method.
Alcohol
Same principle: a session that works on the craving points, followed by 12 months of support. It is a subject that often carries a stigma, one the centre does not share. Find out more.
Cannabis
The principle is close to that for tobacco, working on the points linked to craving, stress and anxiety. The support often goes further, as people also bring up sleep, motivation and concentration. Find out more.
Sugar
Both an addictive substance and an ingrained habit, refined sugar is worked on through the same points: those linked to craving, to reduce the urge to consume it, and those linked to stress. Weight and energy concerns are often part of the picture. Find out more.
Session prices at the Mons centre

For two people booking together, the price drops to €170 per participant: many couples and colleagues come as a pair, so nobody goes home in the evening to someone who still smokes. Reviews of the Mons centre
I’d also like to highlight the after-session support, with real follow-up and genuine encouragement that keeps you motivated.
A heavy smoker for 20 years, I stopped completely 3 weeks ago. Of course it’s not magic, you have to really want to stop, but it’s the first time, having already made several attempts, that I don’t miss it. […] I’d also like to highlight the after-session support, with real follow-up and genuine encouragement that keeps you motivated.
Mahya is a great listener and really kind, and everything is explained very clearly too.
I stopped drinking and smoking 6 months ago thanks to the laser. […] Mahya is a great listener and really kind, and everything is explained very clearly too. In short, go for it without hesitation: walking through the door or booking the appointment will be the hardest part, because for me the rest was very easy, with no feeling of dependency.

€190 for an individual session and €170 per person from two participants. Companies can request a quote. The price includes the session of about an hour, 12 months of support and a free session if you relapse.
Does the laser work to help you quit smoking?
The method aims to reduce the physical signs of craving after quitting. It is a commitment to means, not to results: experiences vary from one person to another and the centre does not quote any success rate. Your personal commitment and the 12 months of support matter as much as the session.
How many sessions are needed?
One quit session of about an hour, at Chaussée du Roeulx 282A in Mons. If you start smoking again within the following 12 months, you are offered a free support session at the Mons centre or at another centre in the network.
Is the session painful?
No. The gentle laser does not pierce the skin and involves no needles. Most people describe a slight feeling of warmth on the ear, nothing more. The session is painless and non-invasive, and you can leave straight afterwards.
What do clients say about the method?
Feedback from people who have visited the Mons centre can be found higher up on this page and on the centre’s Google listing. These reviews reflect individual experiences and are no indication of results.
