- By public transport, rue des Déportés is served by several bus lines, with a stop nearby. Montargis SNCF station is about eight minutes away by car: connections to Paris-Bercy, Nemours and Montigny put the centre within easy reach of travellers from the Île-de-France region.

Why quitting smoking on your own is so hard
Quitting smoking involves two distinct addictions. The first is physical: the body craves nicotine, and going without it brings nervousness, broken sleep, sometimes weight gain. The second is behavioural: the first cigarette of the morning, the break at work, drinks on a terrace with friends. Every situation becomes a trigger.
Most people who come to the centre have already tried to give up tobacco, on their own or with patches, gum or an e-cigarette. These attempts say nothing about a lack of willpower: it usually takes several attempts before quitting smoking lasts over time. Laser auricular reflexology works on the physical side; the habits are then worked on with the follow-up support.

Next comes the laser. A gentle, low-intensity laser (photobiomodulation) stimulates reflex points on the ear and a few points on the nose. No needles, no breaking of the skin, no medication. The session is painless: most people feel nothing more than a slight warmth. It ends with advice for the first few days.
What the method aims to do, and what it does not do
The method is based on laser stimulation of specific points. It aims to ease the physical signs of craving felt after quitting and to reduce the symptoms often associated with withdrawal, such as stress, irritability, anxiety or sleep problems. A lovely lady, attentive, non-judgemental and full of advice.
Appointment today with a lovely lady, I was very well received, she listened, no judgement, advice given. For now I don’t feel any craving even though I’ve had lunch and usually I smoke straight afterwards.
